fMRI, MRS, puppilometry and behavioural data acquired after noradrenaline manipulation during learning: data and code
In humans, we apply a double-blind pharmacological manipulation immediately before participants learn a novel cognitive map (day 1). On the same day (day 1), functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy, behavioural and pupillometry data are acquired, while additional behavioural measures of memory are acquired on day 5.
The dataset consists of the following components:
- Behavioural data from learning task, memory tests and scan task (mat)
- raw MRS data (twix)
- preprocessed MRS data in Gannet (.mat and Gannet output pdfs)
- raw pupillometry data (edf)
- preprocessed pupillometry data (mat)
- fMRI group volumes (nifti)
- fMRI extracted beta values (mat)
- ROI used for analysis (nifti)
The code package contains MATLAB code for:
- Generating the figures in Koolschijn et al., (2025)
- The learning task and memory tests ran in Psychtoolbox. Please note that stimuli are not included due to copyright.
- pupillometry data preprocessing (using the edf toolbox)
